Fruita/GC Trip

Last weekend went to Fruita/Grand Junction with Matt and Daryle. Left early Friday and got back about 1am on Sat night. Was a lot of fun. On Friday we prerode the Rumble at 18 Road course. Which consisted of some roads over to PrimeCut then up to Chutes and Ladders and then back down to the start on a road. about 10.5 mile loop.
Later that day we hit the Lunch Loops in GJ for a couple hr ride before dark.

Saturday we went to Matts race and I hit PC and then went and Did Joes Ridge followed by Kessells Run, back up Vegitarian then down the new trail called Down Uppity, then back to see Matt finish 3rd in his division.

We hit another ride to include a trip up PC/C&L followed by a downhill of Vegitarian. I gave up the ghost after a long two days of riding but Daryle and Matt did another downhill of Joes Ridge and Kessells.

Brew 7/24/2011

Started new batch of beer.

10lbs of 2 row pale
1lb of 40L Caramel

2 oz of Centennial 60 min, 30min
2 oz of Northern Brewer - 45 Min, 15 min

Safeale 04 yeast.

Results... A very nice hoppy lighter beer. not quite an IPA, overall excellent taste. I was not quite satisfied with the hop profile, may need to bring out the Centennial and less on the NB.

Keg went fast. (For me at least)
